Dear Class of 2030 families,
We hope your 9th graders or "First Years" are settling in well to life at Miramonte. As your Class of 2030 Parent Advisors (PAs), we’re excited to kick off this high school journey with you and your students. In our role, we serve as liaisons between the school, the parent community, and Class of 2030 student leadership. Over the next four years, we’ll be supporting class events, fundraising efforts, and all the memorable milestones leading up to graduation in 2030.
We’re delighted to introduce our First Year Class Officers — President Naomi Kaplan, Vice President Emi Hoover and Treasurer Isabel Aguilar! Together with the Class of 2030 leadership team, they are working hard to make this a fun-filled year to remember for all First Year students.
Below, you’ll find some key action items to help us kick off a great start in supporting our amazing class through volunteering and fundraising. Every dollar raised will go directly toward Class of 2030 activities — including Prom, Grad Night, and so much more.
We hope to see you this Thursday, August 20 from 8:45-9:45 a.m. at Mira-Mingle, the new parent welcome hosted by the Miramonte Parents Club. Keep reading for all the deets on this and other fun parent events on the horizon.

As a reminder, each year, we invite families to contribute to the Class Activity Fund, an annual donation that directly supports the Class of 2030 throughout their four years at Miramonte High School. This fund is essential in helping to create unforgettable experiences for our students, covering the costs of beloved events such as:
The success and overall experience of these events depend greatly on the funds raised through these donations. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.

The success of our class over the next four years depends on the collective support of our amazing parent community. While no one can do everything, everyone can do something — and every contribution makes a difference.
We are currently seeking dedicated parent volunteers to chair key committees for our major Class of 2030 events, including the Junior Class Online Auction, Prom, and Grad Night. What is a Class Parent Advisor? The Parent Advisors are part of the Parents’ Club and serve as mentors to the Associated Student Body (ASB) Class Officers and as the liaisons between parents in the class, the Class Officers, and the Miramonte Student Leadership students. They work closely with each year’s Class Officers to establish goals, develop ideas for class activities and fundraising, raise money for the class, and help plan the class-specific events across all four years at Miramonte, including such events as Prom, Time of Reflection, Senior Week, Grad Night, and many more. They raise money through the Class Activity Fund donations, several parent parties each year, class fundraisers (e.g., Casa Orinda dinners, Chipotle, Nation’s, Boo Bags), Finals Care Packages, and football game bake sales. They also secure chairs and volunteers for the various class events and send monthly newsletters to the class parents.
