Who funds what?

We know that sometimes school fundraising can be confusing, and you may be wondering, "Who funds what?" Well, here at Miramonte, We're All ONE TEAM! Below, you'll see the four major players who make up the ONE TEAM that financially supports our students’ high school experience and ensures our students have access to outstanding academic enrichment, community-building opportunities, sports, performing arts, and so much more. We are ONE TEAM with ONE DREAM ... to enrich every Miramonte student's journey. All donations can be made on the Miramonte Web Store.

ONE-Miramonte

The MHS Parents’ Club - made up of your fellow Miramonte parents and guardians - works collaboratively with administrators, teachers, and students to create an outstanding educational experience. Our budget is proposed by the principal (in consultation with teachers and staff) and Parents' Club leadership, is approved by the Parents’ Club, and is the responsibility of the Parents’ Club to fundraise for. The budget is a critical supplement to state funding and ensures that Miramonte can continue our tradition of delivering an exceptional educational experience. Donations to ONE-Miramonte benefit 100% of Miramonte students.

Suggested donation: $1,800 per student for 2024-2025

Donor levels:

Mats ONE Ask Per Student - $1,800

Mats Boost! Per Student - $2,000

Mats Principal’s List - $5,000

Mats Benefactor - $10,000

Associated Student Body (ASB) Sticker

Funds raised from the sale of ASB stickers (which are affixed to the Student ID card) support essential parts of the student experience, such as homecoming, dances, rallies, lunch activities, speakers, tailgates, and awards. Other benefits include free entry to most regular-season sporting events and most dances, and discounted ticket prices for arts events. ASB funds are managed by the Miramonte Student Leadership, who are elected by the student body.

ASB Sticker: $100 per student each year

Class Activity Fund Donation

The annual Class Activity Fund Donation goes directly to your student’s class account. This class-specific fund plays a crucial role in helping to pay for so many of the unforgettable events and activities organized for each class, such as Junior Prom, Senior Ball, Grad Night, Senior Week activities (including Senior Sunset, Senior Breakfast, and Senior Lunch), and many more memorable events enjoyed by the students each and every year! Each class also holds parent fundraising social events and student-led fundraisers every year.

Suggested donation: per student each year

Class of 2025 - $150

Class of 2026 - $150

Class of 2027 - $100

Class of 2028 - $100

Miramonte Athletic Boosters Club

Athletics must be financed through fundraising because they are not funded by our general fund. Boosters Club ensures that all teams receive much-needed equipment, gear, and supplies, as well as funds our Athletic Trainer, Strength & Conditioning Coach, and big-ticket capital purchases. Each team also has a per-player suggested donation, which helps to fund coaching staff stipends, team transportation, competition costs, team supplies, etc.

Suggested donation: $200 per student-athlete each year

Donor levels:

VIP - $200

Silver - $350

Gold - $500

Platinum - $1,000
